ChatGPT has four paid subscription tiers: Go at $8/month, Plus at $20/month, and Pro at $100/month (5x usage) or $200/month (20x usage) — official chatgpt.com pricing as of August 2026; marketplace listing prices may differ. The table below compares all of them at a glance, then each section explains what the tier actually adds and who it is for.

ChatGPT Go is the cheapest paid tier, priced at $8 per month in the US, with cheaper local-currency pricing in some markets. Over the free tier it adds more access to GPT-5.5 Instant, higher message and upload quotas, more image generation, longer memory, and a doubled context window (54K vs 27K for Instant). OpenAI notes the plan may include ads in some markets.
What Go does not include is the Plus feature set: no GPT-5.6 advanced reasoning models, no projects, scheduled tasks, or custom GPTs, and only limited deep research. If you mainly want longer everyday conversations without free-tier cutoffs, Go is enough.
ChatGPT Plus at $20 per month is where the full product opens up: advanced reasoning models with GPT-5.6, expanded message and upload quotas, more complex and accurate image generation, expanded deep research, stronger memory and context, and expanded Codex usage for coding.
Plus is also the first tier with projects, scheduled tasks, and custom GPTs, plus early access to new features. Most individual users who rely on ChatGPT daily — writers, students, developers, researchers — find Plus sufficient.
ChatGPT Pro is the top individual plan and comes in two usage levels; the 5x level costs $100 per month and provides roughly five times the Plus usage ceiling. On top of everything in Plus it adds professional reasoning with GPT-5.6 Sol Pro, maximum Codex task capacity, unlimited and faster image generation, maximum deep research, and the largest context window (128K for Instant, roughly 250 pages of text).
Pro 5x is built for people who hit Plus limits in the course of normal professional work — heavy coding sessions, large-scale research, or high-volume drafting. Unlimited usage is subject to OpenAI's abuse guardrails.
The 20x level of ChatGPT Pro costs $200 per month and raises the ceiling to roughly twenty times Plus, with the same feature set as Pro 5x. It exists for near-continuous, all-day workloads: agencies running generative pipelines, developers driving Codex hard, or researchers synthesizing large document sets daily.
At this volume the effective per-message cost is the lowest of any tier. Occasional or moderate users will not exhaust Pro 5x and should not pay for 20x.
Pick Go if budget is the constraint and your usage is conversational — it removes the most annoying free-tier limits for $8. Pick Plus if ChatGPT is part of your daily work: the GPT-5.6 reasoning models, projects, and custom GPTs are the real productivity jump, and $20/month covers most individual workloads.
Move to Pro 5x only when Plus rate limits actually interrupt you on a normal day. Choose Pro 20x when even 5x throttles a continuous, full-workday pipeline — if you are not sure you need 20x, you don't.
All four tiers — Go, Plus, Pro 5x, and Pro 20x — are available as subscription credits on Taria Gift when inventory is in stock. Payment is accepted in USDC or USDT on Base, BSC, and Arbitrum, with no credit card or bank account needed.

Official chatgpt.com pricing: Go is $8/month in the US (cheaper local-currency pricing in some markets), Plus is $20/month, and Pro starts at $100/month for the 5x usage level, with the 20x level at $200/month. Marketplace listing prices on Taria Gift may differ.
Go raises the free-tier ceilings — more GPT-5.5 Instant messages, uploads, image generation, and longer memory — for $8/month, but may include ads. Plus at $20/month adds the GPT-5.6 advanced reasoning models, projects, scheduled tasks, custom GPTs, expanded deep research, and expanded Codex usage.
The usage ceiling. Pro 5x ($100/month) gives roughly five times the Plus usage; Pro 20x ($200/month) gives roughly twenty times. The feature set — GPT-5.6 Sol Pro reasoning, unlimited image generation, maximum deep research and Codex tasks — is the same at both levels.
For individual users who hit Plus-tier rate limits regularly in professional workflows, yes. For occasional or moderate users, ChatGPT Plus is usually sufficient — and budget users are better served by Go.
Pro Max is an older marketplace label for the ChatGPT Pro tiers. The official naming today is ChatGPT Pro, sold at two usage levels — 5x and 20x — which is how listings on Taria Gift are named.
